Create a Water Stencil Portrait

This is a really cool technique for creating watercolor stencil portraits. I can't wait to try it out. I already went out and bought the Art Masking Fluid. The peeling the sticky stuff up seems like the funnest part! Find out how to do it here.

Sketchbook Tips from Alisa Burke

Alisa Burke's post explaining her sketching process is amazing.

In retrospect, I guess it's almost "simple" but when she shows you
the little mini masterpieces she pops out...
You're just amazed.

Small thoughts turn into full-colored, filled pages of artwork.

After reading her blog post on sketchbook tips, you're just want to go out there see
what you can do and mix & match materials until you find your style!

That's how I intend on spending my day tomorrow,
or at least, the next rainy day.

I always find rainy days so inspiring...
