I stumbled across these cell phone cases made of old ties.

Make This Anthropologie Inspired Flag Bunting Necklace

I am totally in LOVE with this tutorial for this Anthropologie inspired necklace.
(After being involved in the crafts blogging world for a little while,
I've notice, Anthropologie is a favorite for craftsters to model after,
and I have no complaints)!

These Xmas Oreos are So Simple to Make!

I'm no cook, so I'm happy to see this little How-To on making Christmas Oreos!
(My boyfriend LOVES oreos, so I'm trying to find a bunch of
different recipe variations and stuff and send them to him in a care package)

Sew Together This Adorable Yoda Hat!

I came across this Yoda hat tutorial.
I'm not much of a sewer
(but it's a goal of mine to learn)!
But this project looks nice and simple...

Not to mention, ridiculously cute.

Upcycle a Magazine into Pretty Wall Art

If you're anything like me, you probably have a huge collection of magazines
stacked up in the corner of your room ready for collages, scraps and what-have-you...

I found this tutorial that makes a beautiful piece of art.

INSPIRATION

Some random images that I had saved in my "inspirations" folder on my computer. Unfortunately, they have no links since I don't remember where they came from, but if you have any idea, please let me know and I'll happily give credit where credit is due.

Make a Funny Victorian Portrait of Your Dog

Here's a tutorial at Can't Stop Making Things
on how to make a funny Victorian portrait of your pet.
It's pretty simple, all you need is a picture to work with
(you can probably find one at The Graphics Fairy)
and a picture of your pet.

Pretty funny.

Create Your Own Prescriptions!

The Dating Divas might be one of my new favorite blogs...
Here's a tutorial on how to make a Prescription for Fun
game to play with your spouse!
I love this idea so much,
it's so playful and original.

You put the little capsules inside the pill bottle of those "grow an animal" thing
that you can find at the dollar store or somewhere they sell kids stuff.

I can even make this for my boyfriend
who currently lives 800 miles away,
with a couple of alterations.

S'more Brownies!

This picture alone is enough to inspire me to make these s'mores brownies...
That's all I need to show you, words are pointless here.

Check out the recipe here

Mario Theme Coasters

I was just browsing along the internet for inspiring crafty projects. and I came across this awesome set! A Mario coaster set, complete with a box for storing the coasters. This is way more intricate than most perler bead sets I've seen, with actual scenes and backgrounds to each coaster.

My boyfriend would DIE if I made him something like this.

I need to go purchase some perler beads... asap.
Thanks again to Craftster.com for helping me in my search for all things crafty!

Make a Tassel Necklace

The ladies at Hope Studios brings us a wonderful
I usually see necklaces like these in stores
going anywhere from $25-100.
But you can find out how to
make one yourself,
for way less.

How To Make a Framed Wordle Print

I found this tutorial on how to make a
Framed Wordle Print for your family or a friend.
This idea is so great because it
really is simple, cheap and personal.
You don't need to be an artist,
just have access to scrap paper and a printer.

It's project to cost between $2-5,
depending on what items you need to purchase.

Layered Cut Out T-Shirts Tutorial

I love how the tutorial doesn't limit you at all.
You can choose your own fabrics, style, colors...
everything is up to you.
I love this design and the color combo.

Oreo Fudge Balls

I found the recipe for OREO FUDGE BALLS
I'm not sure if these recipes are the ones my ex's parent's used to make,
but they look similar... I'm so excited.

These things are amazing.
I want to make them right now.
They're so rich, and fudgy,
and oreo-y.

My boyfriend will love them. <3

Crayon "Batiked" Candles

When I was in high school,
my honors art class did a batik project
and it was so much fun.
I wish I had the means of making
more batiked art on my own.

However, I came across this tutorial
at Craft Chi on how to use crayons to
create "batiked" candle art.
It's certainly not the traditional art of batik,
but it's still pretty cool and you most likely
have everything you need for it
sitting around your house!
(or a $3 trip to the dollar store).

Cross-Stitched Tetris Magnets

I'm so excited I found this tutorial on how to make
cross-stitched Tetris magnets
(you can also use these as Christmas ornaments or little grab bag gifts).

This tutorial at Craftster shows you how to make a cross stitched pattern,
but you can also make these with perler beads,
but I think the cross stitch looks much more interesting and unique.
